The Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 was introduced in 2014 and remained in production until 2021. It marked a significant shift in the model’s design and technology, featuring a lighter aluminum-intensive structure, more refined styling, and a more luxurious interior inspired by the larger S-Class. A facelift happened in 2018.

The pre-facelift models (2014–2018) featured the NTG5.0 infotainment system, paired with the standard Audio 20 setup that included a 7-inch display, Bluetooth, USB, and smartphone integration. Higher trims offered the COMAND Online system with an 8.4-inch screen, hard-drive navigation, voice control, and internet connectivity. Following the 2018 facelift, the W205 was upgraded to the NTG5.5 system, bringing a larger standard 10.25-inch display, quicker performance, improved graphics, and enhanced smartphone functionality. The Burmester surround sound system remained available across both versions as an optional upgrade, providing premium audio quality and reinforcing the W205’s upscale appeal.
