The Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222/C217/A217 was produced from 2013 to 2020, representing the sixth generation of the S-Class luxury sedan. It was unveiled in May 2013 and launched as a 2014 model, showcasing a sleek, elegant design and serving as the first car in the world to eliminate all traditional light bulbs in favor of full LED lighting. A facelift was introduced in mid-2017 for the 2018 model year.

Pre-facelift models were fitted with the Mercedes Comand Online NTG5.0 system. Facelift models had the NTG5.5 system fitted.
