Mercedes SL-Class [R129] (1988-2001)
The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class R129 was produced from 1989 to 2001, marking the fourth generation of the SL roadster. It debuted at the 1989 Geneva Motor Show and replaced the long-running R107 model. The R129 introduced a bold, modern design and cutting-edge technology for its time, including fully automatic soft-top operation, pop-up roll bars, and adaptive dampers (on higher trims). A facelift was introduced in 1995 for the 1996 model year.
The factory wiring uses an ISO plug. Some vehicles are fitted with a factory BOSE system to which the InCarTec 20-273 will be required when changing the radio.
