The Mercedes-Benz Vito (W639) was the second generation of the Vito, produced from 2003 to 2014. Unlike its predecessor, the W639 switched to rear-wheel drive and offered a more robust, car-like platform shared with the Viano and some Mercedes passenger cars. The vehicle had a facelift in 2010.

The stereo shape was different on the 2004-2006 models and was fitted out with the Audio 10 head unit. However, from 2006 onwards, Mercedes began to standardize the dashboard to accommodate a double-DIN unit, allowing for larger, more feature-rich stereo systems.
