Launched in the UK in 2010, the Mitsubishi ASX (also known as Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and Mitsubishi RVR in other countries) was based on the Lancer platform. it shared tech with the Peugeot 4008 and Citroën C4 Aircross (early alliance cooperation).

The vehicle was fitted with the standard radio or the Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) radio. Both options had the standard or the Rockford Fosgate sound system options.
