The first generation was unveiled in July 2009, and officially went on sale in November 2009. The 5008 shares core structure and mechanical components with the first generation Peugeot 3008. Radio wise, the vehicle is fitted with a single DIN unit with a double DIN aperature. You will either have the basic radio with the orange display DIN above it or the RT6 navigation system, which was a pop-up screen on the top of the dash.
