The Clio was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in June 1990 and sales in France and the rest of the continent began then, although sales in right-hand drive Britain did not begin until March 1991. The Clio was the replacement to the hugely successful Renault 5.
The factory wiring uses an ISO plug. No fascia is required to fit an aftermarket radio as the dash will only fit a single DIN radio.
