A major facelift occurred in June 2001, Phase 2 saw the exterior restyled (most visibly the headlights were made more angular), the interior quality improved. In 2004, Phase 3 followed starting on a 53 Plate, this was just some small changes to bring it up to date.

The factory wiring uses an ISO plug. No fascia is required to fit an aftermarket radio as the dash will only fit a single DIN radio. The vehicle was fitted with either the Tuner List or Update List radio system, with a range of variants.
