The second generation Renault Master, which arrived in November 1997, was more conventional in appearance and, though primarily developed by Renault, was available from 1998 as the almost identical Opel Movano (badged in the United Kingdom as the Vauxhall Movano).

The factory wiring uses an ISO plug. No fascia is required to fit an aftermarket radio as the dash will only fit a single DIN radio.
