The Alphard was launched by Toyota on 22 May 2002. The first-generation model is based on the second-generation Previa/Estima, which in turn shares many components with the Camry. The Alphard was refreshed in April 2005. 

Like all imports, there could be a factory radio in the vehicle but there may also be a JDM conversion or even just an aftermarket conversion already done.
