Appearing in 2002, the third generation Prado has revised front suspension to improve reliability. The 120-series Land Cruiser Prado shares the same suspension parts as the Hilux Surf/4Runner and FJ Cruiser from the same years.

The dash can fit a double DIN radio, the 200mm Toyota fitment radio or bespoke fitment.
