TT [MK2 8J] (2006-2012)
Audi debuted the second-generation TT, internal designation Type 8J, on 6 April 2006, using the Volkswagen Group A5 (PQ35) platform.
All Mk II Audi TTs are fitted with a fully amplified audio system. This will either be the standard or BOSE amplified system, distinguishable by the BOSE logos on the speaker grills.
The amplifier is housed in the near side rear quarter panel.
Vehicles with the factory navigation system use a CANbus signal to turn the amplifier on instead. Using our CANbus steering control interfaces will turn on the amplifier. Alternatively, the turn on method can be changed to using the +12v switch pin position using VAG-COM VCDS.
The amplifier in the TT is normally turned on with a +12v switch signal. As the pinout diagrams are German on the unit, the DSP EIN denoting, is the amp turn position.
