This aerial adaptor is required when replacing a factory-fitted head unit with an aftermarket radio. It enables a straightforward installation without cutting or modifying the vehicle’s original wiring.
Always ensure the adaptor matches your vehicle’s specifications. Using the wrong type can result in poor radio reception.
PLEASE NOTE:
The loose blue wire should be connected to the antenna turn-on wire (typically blue or blue/white) from the aftermarket radio harness. This activates the vehicle’s original antenna amplifier
