Audio Tech Direct now supplies a range of camera input cables designed to connect aftermarket reverse cameras to OEM factory radios. These offer a practical way to add parking assistance while retaining the original head unit. Compatibility varies by vehicle and radio type, so please review the product listing carefully—some setups may require coding.
When paired with a compatible NTSC camera and correctly configured software, the system automatically displays the rear view image on the factory screen when reverse gear is engaged. Our SYNC-compatible cable delivers the video signal directly to the APIM module, eliminating the need for bulky Y-harnesses and ensuring a clean, space-efficient installation
PLEASE NOTE: The vehicle will require coding for the video input function to operate. We strongly recommend installation of this product to be done by a professional as you need to open up the Ford 54 pin plug to insert the cables.

VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY LIST
This cable can only be used with the Ford SYNC 2, 2.5 and 3 factory systems. This input cable requires installing into the existing APIM unit connector - Installation instructions are provided for the video input cable only and not for accessing the APIM units.
