Audio Tech Direct now offers a range of cable adaptors to allow an after-market camera to be connected to the OEM factory radio. These are a great way of adding some much needed parking assistance to your factory radio. Please read the listing description carefully as coding and variants with the factory radio may apply.
This 8 pin camera adapter cable allows you to add an aftermarket rear view camera to OEM monitors on Toyota/ Citroen and Peugeot cars with X-Touch/ X-Nav systems. Using this cable you will be able to install the aftermarket camera Plug & Play without damaging the car wires.
Image from the rear view camera will automatically be displayed on the screen when reversing. The device is connected to the 8 pin socket (marked with an arrow in the picture). After connection all OEM functions which work using this socket are preserved due to transit type of connection.

PLEASE NOTE: The additionally installed rear view camera should be powered from ACC line (first turn of the key), otherwise the camera input will be not active. Depending on the type of the camera to be connected, namely the operating voltage, you can use power converter to decrease heating of the linear power supply which is built in the camera. In case the camera requires more than +6 V, connect the camera power directly to ACC line.
