Audio Tech Direct now offers a range of cable adaptors to allow an after-market camera to be connected to the OEM factory radio. These are a great way of adding some much needed parking assistance to your factory radio. Please read the listing description carefully as coding and variants with the factory radio may apply.
The product is a full camera add on kit that allows you to add in an aftermarket camera (sold separately) whilst retaining the use of your factory head unit on various BMW models with NBT Systems with 6.5”, 8.4” or 10.25” displays (See Vehicle Applications for specific vehicles). This product is specifically designed for use on vehicles without a factory camera input. Following the simple installation process the camera image can be automatically viewed on the OEM screen via reverse gear or manually through the vehicle’s controls. The interface also features an input for an optional second camera (sold separately) for simultaneous front and rear coverage solution.
We recommend that professional installation is undertaken with this product.
