If your vehicle comes with a factory fitted camera and you wish to retain it to be used with an aftermarket head unit, then this adaptor is the solution. You keep the factory fitted camera (no need to splice factory video cable wire) and simply use this adaptor to make connection with an aftermarket head unit which comes with RCA camera input.

PLEASE NOTE: Some imported Toyota cars from Japan may come with a different factory fitted reversing camera plug. This is a 24 pin adaptor. This adaptor us normally used for Toyota models with the 6volt stock cameras. This adapter includes a 12v to 6v reducer and turns the OEM 24 pin style camera plug into an RCA output used on all aftermarket stereos.
This does not contain the reverse trigger. You will need to manually connect the trigger from the vehicle to your head unit.
