If your vehicle comes with a factory fitted camera and you wish to retain it to be used with an aftermarket head unit, then this adaptor is the solution. You keep the factory fitted camera (no need to splice factory video cable wire) and simply use this adaptor to make connection with an aftermarket head unit which comes with RCA camera input.
With many late model vehicles offering factory-fitted reverse cameras, it makes sense to keep it operational when upgrading your stereo headunit. To make this possible, Aerpro has developed a range of adaptor harnesses that allow you to retain use of the OEM camera with a compatible aftermarket AV head unit.
If you want to continue using your original reversing camera after a radio conversion, this interface is required.
