If your vehicle comes with a factory fitted camera and you wish to retain it to be used with an aftermarket head unit, then this adaptor is the solution. You keep the factory fitted camera (no need to splice factory video cable wire) and simply use this adaptor to make connection with an aftermarket head unit which comes with RCA camera input.
Rear view camera adapters are required to maintain the OEM rear view camera. These allow the connection of a factory pre-equipped camera to an aftermarket device with camera input.

For models with 20 pin Toyota camera connection only. Depending on the vehicle and equipment, the adapter provides the video signal RCA, a power supply +6V/ground for the OEM camera and the +12V revere gear signal or this must be connected in the vehicle.
Before installation check the correct assignment of the adapter to the OEM connector.
