This Universal Blue Fakra (code Z) to male PHONO socket cable allows you to retain an original reverse camera from various vehicles such as Ford, Land Rover, Porsche, Jaguar & Mercedes.
For this cable to be compatible, your OEM system will have fakra connections present on the head unit. These are usually green or brown in colour and are not always located on the monitor itself, but quite often the media system the monitor is connected to. If it is connected to a seperate module, a Fakra extension may also be required.
This Adaptor also enables you to adapt and connect a video signal with a video input like DVD, Video Sources, DVB-T Tuner, etc. Most commonly, this adaptor is used to retain a factory Mercedes reverse camera to be used with an after-market head unit.
PLEASE NOTE: This cable is only compatible with single fakra connections. Double fakra connections are not supported.
