This cable enables you to play audio from your iPod, iPhone, or other 3.5mm audio devices (such as smartphones, MP3 players, or MiniDiscs) through your Mercedes-Benz factory stereo system using the MMI interface. Simply connect your device to the MMI system using this adapter to use it as an external "Entertainment Source."
Please note:
- This cable transmits audio only. It does not support device control, track selection, or album display on the car screen
- Plug-and-play functionality with hot-swapping support
- While connected, it charges iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6S, and 6 Plus models
- Device control via steering wheel or receiver is not supported, and no track or music info will be displayed on the stereo
