The cable allows you to listen your iPod or iPhone device through your factory stereo. Simply connect your 3.5mm Audio device(iPod/iPhone/Smartphone/MP3 player/MD) to your AUDI AMI/MMI system or Volkswagen/Skoda/SEAT MDI MMI system with this adapter, use as a connector of 'Entertainment Source'.
After connection is done, simply press MEDIA on the MMI controller buttons. This cable transmits audio from device to car stereo only. It will not display album list, control the device. Plug & play, supports hot-plugging, also charges your iPhone 5 & iPhone 6/6 plus while it is connected.
This item is an after-market product designed to replace Audi part 4F0051510L. Please consult your Volkswagen user manual or local dealer for correct AMI/MMI part number required for your vehicle.
Unfortunately you have no control from receiver or steering wheel and no music information shows on receiver.
