MAIN FEATURES
ModLight Lite is a Lighting Kit for BMW E46/E83/E85. It adds a lot of new features into your car, like welcome lights, goodbye lights and follow me home lights activated by the remote controller of your key fob, comfort turn signals, automatic unlock when turn the engine off.
Installation:
- You have to connect it to three wires of your car’s wire harness: 12V, GND (ground) and KBUS wire.
- Once you connect these three wires to your car, ModLight Lite is ready for use. It has a simple two buttons user interface menu, which allows you to enable/disable or configure the functions.
Functions:
- Longpress lock lights. You can choose which lights pattern to start when you hold the lock button for 1.5s.
- Doublepress lock lights. You can choose which lights to start when you press the lock twice.
- Comfort blinker (comfort turn signals)
- Triple blinker – when this function is enabled and when you click the left blinker (turn signal) to blink once, your modLight Lite will add 2/3/4 additional blinks.
- Auto lock when your car reaches 18km/h and auto-unlock when you turn off the engine.
- This function can be coded to your original GM module with coding software, there are older cars which do not have the available function available and that's why we have added this function to our modLight Lite module.
- Auto unlock when you turn the engine turn off. When this function is enabled, your modLight Lite module will automatic unlock your car (if locked) when you turn the motor off.
- Automatic side mirrors folding by the key remote. This feature works only if the car is equipped with electric seats and mirrors with memory.
- Automatic side mirrors unfolding by key remote. This feature works only if the car is equipped with electric seats and mirrors with memory.
