Audio Tech Direct now offers a range of cable adaptors to allow an after-market camera to be connected to the OEM factory radio. These are a great way of adding some much needed parking assistance to your factory radio. Please read the listing description carefully as coding and variants with the factory radio may apply.
This interface allows you to add rear and front backup and parking cameras to the OEM monitor on Audi TT (2015 Onwards) car models. It adds active parking lines and integrates with the cars parking sensors to provide a visual parking display.
No special coding is needed as the interface integrates with the LVDS cable behind the vehicle head unit. The rear camera will activate as soon as reverse gear is engaged. The front camera will only activate if reverse gear is selected and then immediately afterwards drive forward gear is selected.
PLEASE NOTE: This interface requires hard wiring to the original head units main connector in order to generate the CANBUS. We recommend this be done by an experienced car audio technician.
