This custom fit head unit is designed to be a direct fit after-market replacement head unit for the original fitted head unit. The unit is supplied with a matching audio plug fitting from what should be standard, for a simple plug and play* installation. Please read the fitment notes (if any) assigned to this product as we try to advise as many points and possibilities as we can. The fitment guide is given as a guide only. Each vehicle may have a variation so please make sure you've checked everything to be sure the product will be suitable.
COMPATIBLE WITH:
- BMW 1 Series [E81 E82 E87 E88] (2007-2011)
NOTE: Facelift models only. It will not fit the 2004-2007 models. It will NOT fit models which have the stereo at the top and the A/C panel below.
PANEL SIZE: 294mm x 192mm x 230mm
FITMENT NOTES:
- If your car has the built-in the original CCC-System then you can refit and install this item in your car BUT your original Navi-System will not function. It will just be a blank screen.
- Modification to the original plastic frame on BMW air conditioning equipment maybe required in order to fit the installation in the centre console.
- If your analogue radio aerial is in the rear of the vehicle, then you will require UCA-21028 to extend it to behind the new radio
- If you have the heated seats panel. This will need to be relocated (part not supplied).
