The Wavtech ThinPRO12 12" Subwoofer is designed to deliver serious bass performance where installation space is limited. With an ultra-shallow 3" mounting depth and 750W RMS power handling, it provides the output and performance expected from a full-size subwoofer while fitting into compact installations.
Its patent-pending design uses mirrored internal NBR spiders and an axial force transfer assembly to achieve more than 2" of peak-to-peak excursion. The FEA-optimised dual-gap motor structure with double-stacked strontium magnets provides high flux density and control, while the 5" voice coil supports powerful, consistent performance.
The ThinPRO12 uses a lightweight and rigid Honeycomb Nomex® and glass fibre cone with a double-roll NBR surround. It is optimised for both sealed and ported enclosures, with recommended sealed volumes from 0.4–1.0 cu ft and ported volumes from 0.8–1.5 cu ft. A protective mesh grille is included for added protection.
