The Wavtech IRAD Ignition Remote Generator and Delay with Solenoid Control is a versatile installation tool designed to solve common ignition, remote turn-on and Start/Stop system challenges in modern vehicles. It can generate a switched +12V output, provide a remote output with adjustable delay and control a relay or solenoid from one compact unit.
Automatic 12V ignition detection allows the IRAD to detect the vehicle's ignition state and generate the required +12V output. Independent adjustable ignition and remote turn-on/off delays provide flexible control, while the generated remote output can operate directly or be linked to the ignition signal.
The IRAD also features a dedicated Stop-Start relay/solenoid control mode, helping overcome issues created by modern Start/Stop systems. With more than 750mA continuous current available per output, locking detachable terminals and a compact aluminium chassis, it provides a practical solution for demanding vehicle installations.
