Audio Tech Direct now offers a range of cable adaptors to allow an after-market camera to be connected to the OEM factory radio. These are a great way of adding some much needed parking assistance to your factory radio. Please read the listing description carefully as coding and variants with the factory radio may apply.
This is a plug-and-play "T" Harness that allows you to easily add a back-up camera (when your vehicle did not come with a OEM backup camera) to select OEM systems while retaining factory settings. Ditch the wires and discover the simplicity of true plug-and-play. Disconnect the factory connector and connect our T-Harness inline.

- Power of the additionally installed rear view camera should be taken from the ACC line (second key turn) otherwise camera input will not be active

- ONLY FOR SYSTEMS WITH FORD NAV MFD LOW with 4.5" or 5" screen
- Will not work with non-colour/monochrome screens

The CAO-27239 is an adapter harness for adding a reverse camera video input in a variety of different Ford models with Ford Sync 1 Systems (for full model list please view Product applications). This product connects inline at the back of the original head unit, providing 6v camera power outputs and an RCA video input. A reverse gear feed needs to be supplied to the adapter.
This harness works with vehicles that feature factory SYNC1 Nav MFD Low systems with 4.5” colour screens (will not work with non-colour/monochrome screens).
Note: the camera input feature may need to be activated by a Ford dealership. For use with NTSC cameras only.

Works a treat
After purchase this arrived very quickly. Once installed (and your camera is installed and working) you need to connect to your car, i used a program called focccus, a free program but you can also use forscan. In there you need to connect to the bcm and activate the reverse park camera, initially for me nothing happened but the next day it was working and still is! Reverse camera on a 2014 ford kuga with sync 1 with sat nav.
