If your vehicle comes with a factory fitted camera and you wish to retain it to be used with an aftermarket head unit, then this adaptor is the solution. You keep the factory fitted camera (no need to splice factory video cable wire) and simply use this adaptor to make connection with an aftermarket head unit which comes with RCA camera input.
These allow the connection of a factory pre-equipped camera to an aftermarket device with camera input. It's really that easy and all you get is a neat installation.
Before installation, check the correct assignment of the adapter to the OEM connector. Many retrofit devices must be set to the camera function in the menu.
