XK8/XKR [Convertible] (1996-2005)
The Jaguar XK8 Convertible, along with the high-performance XKR Convertible, was launched in 1996 as part of Jaguar's new grand tourer range, replacing the long-running XJS. The supercharged XKR Convertible followed in 1998, offering significantly enhanced performance. A facelift in 2002 introduced updated styling, improved interiors, and more powerful 4.2-litre engines. Production of the XK8 and XKR Convertibles continued until 2006, when they were replaced by the all-new aluminium-bodied XK Convertible (X150).
Models were fitted with either the standard or premium audio systems.
